How to view messages sent to clients

Bookem keeps all your communication with clients in one place - no need to check your personal email, WhatsApp, or phone. With two-way communication built in, you can send and receive messages (SMS and email) directly through Bookem, and every message is tracked and stored.

You can see exactly:

  • What was sent or received

  • When it happened

  • Which email address or phone number was used

This helps you stay organised, improves transparency, and means you can always pick up the conversation where it left off - without switching between different apps.

Two ways to view your two-way communication with clients

You can view messages either from the client’s profile or via the main Messages tab.

1. From the client's profile

To view the full two-way message history with a specific client:

  • Go to Clients or select a client from your Calendar

  • Click on the client’s name to open their profile

  • Go to the Messages tab

  • You’ll see a full log of all incoming and outgoing messages, with:

    - Message content

    - Timestamps

    - The email address or phone number used

2. From the Messages tab

To check messages across all clients:

  • Click Messages from the main menu

  • Choose Sent or Received at the top to filter your view

  • Find or search for the client you're looking for

  • Click their name to view your full two-way conversation

Why this matters

Having two-way communication centralised in Bookem means:

  • No more jumping between SMS, email, or messaging apps

  • You never lose track of who said what, or when

  • Any team member can view the conversation if needed

  • You can reply quickly and keep the conversation flowing

Note: Messages are tied to the user who sent or received them, so it’s important that each team member uses their own login.
