All about locations

Locations are a key part of how Bookem helps you run your business smoothly - whether you operate in - person, online, or across multiple locations around the world.

What is a location?

A location in Bookem is where your business services are offered. This can be:

  • A physical address: Clients receive a map link in appointment confirmations and reminders. When they click on it, they’re directed to your location on Google Maps

  • Online: Perfect for virtual services. You can create multiple online locations for different time zones or regions, so clients can book in their local time and pay in their currency

Editing a location

You can update your location details at any time.

  1. Go to Settings > Locations

  2. Click the location you want to update

  3. Edit any of the following:

  • Name of the location

  • Address (with Google Maps integration)

  • Time zone and currency

  • Email address for client communications

  • Notes such as directions, access instructions, or parking info

Save your changes

💡 Tip: Be sure to double - check the time zone if your team or clients are international.

Associating services with locations

You can offer different services at different locations - even with custom pricing.

  1. Go to Settings > Services

  2. Click on the service you'd like to edit, or create a new one

  3. Scroll to the Locations section and click + Add location

  4. Choose a location and assign the team member(s) who will provide the service there

  5. Set a price specific to that location (optional but useful for invoicing and online bookings)

  6. Click Save

This allows you to tailor your offerings by location, whether for in - person visits or timezone - based online sessions.

Invoicing and payment details by location

If you operate multiple branches or want to manage revenue by region, Bookem lets you set up location-specific invoicing and payment details.

You can:

  • Add payment details per location, so payments go to the right account

  • Generate invoices by location for easier tracking and reporting

  • Offer different pricing per location for the same service

To enable this:

Set up your Invoices and payment methods

  1. Go to Settings > Account

  2. Toggle Maintain separate client accounts for each location to ON and edit the invoice details accordingly

  3. Go to Settings > Accounts > Payment methods

  4. Enter the payment methods specific to each location

  5. Toggle Available at all locations to OFF

  6. Select the available locations from the drop - down
