How do I request a feature that I'd like to see on Bookem?

You can suggest improvements or request new features by email or on the feature request board. Using the board helps Bookem prioritise updates based on user feedback.

How to format a request

  • Be specific about the problem you are trying to solve
  • Explain how it affects your day-to-day work
  • Include examples where possible
  • Check if a similar request already exists on the board before submitting a new one

How to submit to the feature request board

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Help Centre
  2. Scroll down to ' Feature requests' to open the public feature request board
  3. To suggest a new feature:
    -Click '+ New request'
-Enter a clear title for your request
    -Add a short description
  4. Click ‘Submit feature request’
  5. You can also use the search bar and filters to find relevant requests
  6. To vote for a request that would benefit your practice:
    -Open the request
-Click the thumbs up (👍) icon

Voting helps prioritise features that are useful to more users.

Log a request via email

If you don't want to make your request public, mail us with details of your request, and reasons why, on [email protected]

How feature requests are reviewed

Bookem reviews feature requests regularly. When assessing requests, the team considers:

  • How many users would benefit
  • The impact on existing workflows
  • Technical feasibility

Not all requests can be implemented, and some may take time. You can follow the status of a request directly on the feature request page.
