Manage tracking analytics settings for online bookings on Bookem

Bookem lets you add tracking IDs to your Bookem account so tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Facebook Pixel can track visits and bookings on your online booking page. You can view all tracking data and reports directly in these third party apps.

Note: If you have embedded your booking page on your website, tracking will still work as expected, as long as you have entered the correct IDs in Bookem and the embedding is set up properly.

Manage tracking settings

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > General preferences
  2. Scroll down to the ‘Tracking’ section
  3. Enter the tracking IDs for the services you use:
  • Facebook Pixel ID: Sends booking page activity to Facebook Pixel so you can measure conversions, optimise ads, and create audiences in Meta’s tools.
  • Google Analytics ID: Sends booking page activity to Google Analytics so you can review traffic and behaviour in Google Analytics.
  • Google Tag Manager ID: Loads Google Tag Manager on your booking page so you can manage and deploy tracking tags through GTM.

💡Pro -Tip: Booking completion events

If your website uses Google Tag Manager or Google’s Global Site Tag (gtag.js), booking completion events are submitted automatically when a booking is completed on the online booking page.

If you do not see events or data in your analytics platform, confirm that the correct ID has been entered in Bookem and check for browser extensions, consent settings, or site policies that may block tracking scripts.
