Connecting your Yoco card machine as a payment method in Bookem

Integrate your Yoco Neo Touch or Khumo Print card machine with Bookem for fast, secure client payments that are automatically matched to the client profile and correct invoice. There’s no need to manually track transactions or reconcile your books at the end of the day - Bookem automatically records the payment, updates the invoice status, and keeps your records up to date. This makes it easier to stay on top of your finances, reduce admin time, and avoid errors.

NB. Please make sure to read the article on how to capture a payment with a Yoco card machine, before you capture your first payment.

Note: Before connecting Yoco to Bookem, you’ll need to sign up for a Yoco account, create your business profile, select a product, and complete the verification process.

Add a Yoco card machine as a payment method on Bookem 

Follow these steps: 

1. Go to Settings > Payments & invoicing > Payment methods

2. Select '+ New payment method'

3. Choose 'Card machine - Yoco’ from the list of payment methods and again under "Select a card machine"

4. Choose the locations where the card machine will be available:

  • Deselect 'Available at all locations'

  • Choose specific locations the machine is available at

5. Click ‘Create’

6. The page will redirect to Yoco, where you'll log in with your email and password 

7. Follow the prompts to grant Bookem access; the page will close once access is approved

That’s it – you're ready to accept Yoco card machine payments and enjoy seamless, automated payment integration.

A note on your Yoco card machine payment method: the device will be listed as default and you will see a banner reminding you that only Yoco Neo and Yoco Khumo Print devices are currently supported by Bookem. You should see the following:
