How to use the Bookem document template library

Bookem has a library of document templates for you to choose from. You can easily access Bookem’s template library when creating a new document template.

How to access the library

  1. Go to Documents > Templates

  2. Click ‘+ New template’

  3. In the pop-up window, choose to start with a blank template or select from the library - select the library

How to copy a document template from the library

If you’d like to use a template from the library, you can copy it into your own business templates.

  1. In the library view, you’ll see your business’s document templates listed

  2. Use the search bar under Filter by business type to find templates relevant to your needs

  3. Select a business type to open the available templates

  4. Click on the document template you want to use

  5. Click ‘Save’ to add the borrowed template to your business templates

Review and finalise the document template

Now that the new document template has been saved to your business templates, it’s time to review it carefully:

  1. Check for broken variables: If you notice any variables that don’t exist in your business

    - For example, #diagnosis

Replace the broken variable by deleting the incorrect variable and using the hashtag search to insert the correct one e.g. #ICD-10

  2. Review the text: Ensure the content is accurate, clear, and appropriate for your business needs

  3. When you are satisfied with the template, click ‘Save’
